Default Some dumb Giants Players said-"Why go to the playoffs as a 8-8 team?

BECAUSE you have a chance to win the SB a$$HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damm I was shocked when I heard that. What team wouldn't want a chance to go and have a shot at the SB?

I agree with this guy. I don't see why a team with an 8-8 record deserves a playoff shot. The wild card system is a joke.

But why should it matter when every team's record starting in January is -0-0? I guess he had no idea how dumb he sounded and should be THANKFUL he has a chance to play in a do or Die game

How bout 7-9? If all the 7-8 wildcard hopefuls lose the Giants get in at 7-9.

That's why they should be thankful because it's not too often you get in as a 7-9 team-lol And plus all kind of crazy things can happen in a do or die game like 2 kickoff returns or blocked Fg's-lol

Personally, I say next time we have these 8-8 and 7-9 NFC teams as the best case scenarios for a wild card scenario, we just take one of the poor 9-7 AFC teams and stick them there.

I agree with the player, no 7-9 team should EVER make the playoffs. Especially if they back in.

Brian you need to understand that every Team is 0-0 once the playoffs start. So no matter how you got there, the main thing is that you are IN and have a shot at a Title

The regular season should mean something and this season the Giants DO NOT deserve to make the playoffs.

But why would someone a$$hole say they wouldn't want to go in as 7-9? He is basically saying that he is just interested in a paycheck and not a SB ring

Buffalo, Tennessee and Pittsburgh are all playing better than any of those 6th place wildcard hopefuls. The AFC is just loaded with good teams this year. You can put the Bengals and Jaguars in there too since they might not make the playoffs.

That's where all the Good Defenses are at, THE AFC, that' why Jeff Gacria couldn't do SH*T against the Titans-lol

That's a load of crap! It shouldn't be that way!

You mean to say that a teams that won tons of games like the Bears or the Chargers are now "equal" with the rest of the league?
