TV One January 2007 - Cooper Joins Line-Up, Roc Returns; Martin New Year's Marathon

TV One January 2007 --

As the new year rolls in, there are some changes ahead on the TV One landscape to keep viewers excited about TV One programming and flowing from show to show.
Included in this change is the TV One launch of the classic '90s sitcom Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, starring Mark Curry as an Oakland high school coach/teacher. Co-stars include Holly Robinson, Omar Gooding, Raven Symone, and Nell Carter.

Starting Tuesday, January 2, the changes are to weekdays between 6am-8pm, everything else will remain the same as it is now. Here are the changes:

8:00AM - Living It Up with Patti LaBelle (replaces Various programming)
8:30AM – Makeover Manor (replaces Various programming)

11:00AM - Fastlane (MWF) / A Man Called Hawk(T/TH) (replaces Boston Public)

3:30PM - In the House (replaces On Our Own)

On Monday January 15 in honor of the Martin Luther King Holiday, TV One presents a “Moving Movie Marathon” with movies beginning at 8am that may move you to action, move you to tears, or just move you to think. At 10PM, TV One interrupts the movies for a special "Martin Luther King Jr." focused episode of "New York Undercover". This special lineup of movies dealing with civil rights or the Black experience are as follows:

TVOne has a good looking lineup. I think the short lived series should all be moved to the weekends to keep from becoming stale so fast.
