I'm thinking of this case.
Remember that segment about the little boy who was hit by a car that a man named Cachimba was driving? I remember the first time I saw that case, it was aired during the holidays. Was it shown together with another segment about an elderly lady who was coming out of a store after buying presents and was hit by a driver who also took off?
Or is my mind just messing with me?

Yes the lady that got hit by a car in a mall parking lot was mentioned after the Cachimba case.
