Anyone remember Route 66? (1993) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

By this, I don't mean the original from the 60's, I mean that short lived one from 1993. Dan Cortese was in it. For some stupid reason I kinda remember this, but don't remember anything about it. Obviously it wasn't as good as the original. It lasted 4 years; this lasted 4 weeks.

But then that's because Martin Milner wasn't in it

I just realized why this show sucked. According to this book I was reading, this show followed Buzz's long lost son and some other guy as they traveled around the country in (supposedly) the original Corvette. See, Buzz somehow gave his kid the Vette.

Problem is, when the show originally went off the air #1- Buzz wasn't on the show, and #2- Tod got the car.

So it failed because it made no sense!!!

No question to me why it sucked...... By the 90s everything was starting to blow chunks.......

The original is quite good!!!
