Who else here has 4 NFL games in their area this week?

I checked my Time Warner access guide to see what games are on in my area for Sunday. According to it, there is a doubleheader on both FOX and CBS here this week. Cool! But, the info isn't up there yet on which games I am getting. I know for a fact the Bills and Jets will be shown here, but I am glad I am getting 4 games.

I don't believe it. No area would ever get Two CBS and FOX games on the same day.

Other than the areas who have a game with the rule that a game cant be on while a local game is on, there will be 4 games on. Some will only get 3, some will get 4.

See what's going to happen for me is NO 4pm Game on CBS because the Eagles are playing in Philly. So I will only get to see a 1pm game and 8pm game because I don' t watch Eagles Games

This week is the exception to the rule except in cases like NY & philly where the home teams are home. In the new broadcast deal week 17 of every year will be doubleheader weeks for both networks!!!

When I lived there I got 4 Games All he Time-lol I had 3 Fox Games on some weekends

Yeah that must have been cool to get 2 different feeds of fox from 2 cities!!

Yeah the Hartford affailate, and can't think of the other CT fox station but I know the other Fox station I got was from Springfield, MA

(Dec. 28, 2006) -- With a record 20 teams remaining in the Super Bowl race, fans will be able to follow more of the action on Sunday, Dec. 31, as the first-ever NFL television "double doubleheader" airs on CBS and FOX.

Every television market other than those with a home game will receive a 1 p.m. ET game on CBS and FOX and a 4:15 p.m. ET game on each network. This is the first time fans in those markets will receive four Sunday afternoon games.

"With tight playoff races and so much interest in so many games, a Week 17 double doubleheader offers fans more football as they look ahead to the playoffs," said NFL senior vice president of broadcasting Howard Katz.

All NFL markets where there is a home game will receive three games -- the local team's home game at 1 p.m. ET or 4:15 p.m. ET and two games at the time that the home team is not playing.

For example, New York, where the Jets host Oakland at 1 p.m. ET, will see the Jets game at 1 on CBS and two games at 4:15 p.m. ET. Chicago, however, with the Bears playing at home against Green Bay in primetime will receive two 1 p.m. games and two 4:15 p.m. contests for a total of five games on Sunday.

1pm-Detroit a Dallas-FOX
