Default What's next for Happy Days?

As you already know, Happy Days will no longer run on TV Land, as of New Year's Weekend. The question still remains will the show move to either Hallmark Channel, ABC Family, or will we fans have to lobby for Paramount's parent company, CBS Studios, to take each and every episode of the show, digitally remaster and re-syndicate the show, entirely? Either way, we need to let these cable networks know we love Happy Days, and we want to see the show on a regular basis, again. If no cable network picks up the show after New Year's Day, we need to lobby for CBS Studios to re-syndicate the show. I know CBS Paramount is releasing season 2 of Happy Days on DVD in the Spring, but again, we would love to see the show on a regular basis. What do you think? Will Happy Days be picked up by another cable network, or should we lobby for CBS Studios to re-syndicate the show? Chime in, now!

I could never get into shows like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Joanie Loves Chachi, etc. Just not my cup of tea, I suppose. I liked Welcome Back Kotter when it first came on, but it was going downhill by the third season, and by the final season the show was a shadow of it's former self.

I generally don't like sitcoms that take place in a time from the past. Those shows end up going over the top, and are not accurate depictions of the times they are supposed to represent. That 70's Show is another example. What a horrible show that is. I don't think any of those people who act in that show or the people who created it have any idea what the 70's were really like. The show is tasteless, and way over the top.

TV started getting really bad in the late 70's. There were awful sitcoms on like Mork & Mindy, Soap, & Taxi just to name a few. And those ridiculous nighttime dramas like Dallas, Knots Landing, & Falcon Crest. Then in the 80's came all these bland generic sitcoms like Punky Brewster, Silver Spoons, Facts Of Life, Family Ties, & The Cosby Show. The shows nowadays are even worse with the subject matter and foul language they are allowed to use. Absolute dreck, in my humble opinion.
