The Cunningham's house: What if Chuck, Richie, Joanie and K.C. all lived there? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This is a rather interesting question: What would the Cunningham household be like if brothers Chuck and Richie, sister Joanie and cousin K.C. were living under Howard and Marion's roof at the same time? In my opinion, I don't think that ever would've happened, partly due to Chuck living in his own apartment. Richie would still have his own room(he did for many years), but that would be a moot point, because he and Lori Beth would already be married and possibly live in a house off-base at his Army base. Now, that would only leave Joanie and K.C. Joanie would still have her room(this is before she and Chachi tied the knot), but K.C. would take over Richie's old room. Truthfully speaking, Howard and Marion Cunningham would've had to get a larger house if their children, Chuck, Richie and Joanie, and niece K.C., were living with them at the same time. Richie and Joanie lived in the same house for many years, but after Richie went into the Army, it was just Joanie. After she returned home, feeling tired of being on tour with her's and Chachi's band, it was her and cousin K.C. for a short time. I don't think we'll ever really know what the Cunningham household would've been like if all three of the Cunningham siblings and cousin K.C. were living together at the same time, but if it wasn't going to be a tall order, Howard and Marion would've had their hands full for sure. Now, what do you think?

i think that the kids would've just shared rooms - that's what Richie and Chuck did at the start of the first season

Actually, Chuck had his own room. It was shown in Great Expectations (the beatnik ep) although he wasn't in that ep.
