Does anyone else HAVE to watch Home Alone at Christmas? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I always watch the first two Home Alone films at Christmas. I love them!

I grew up on them. I'm 18 now, and saw them for the first time when I was about 5.

When I was 7/8, I wanted to marry Maculay Culkin. I saw all of his films, and remember crying when I watched My Girl and his character died. I remember my parents trying to comfort me, saying to me, "It's just a film, Michelle, he's not really dead."

The number of times I dreamed of defending my house from burglars...

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it until I was 15

It's so boring. We had to watch it at school TWICE. I fell asleep during the second one.

I thought I was the only person on earth who hates A Christmas Story. I didn't watch it until just a couple of years ago. Everyone is always raving about it, and I think it's a snoozefest.

I feel like Elaine in that episode of Seinfeld where everyone around her loved the movie, The English Patient, and she felt like she was on Mars because she hated it.
