Have you ever wondered why Coke comes with a smile? It’s because it gets you high. They took the cocaine out almost a hundred years ago. You know why? It was redundant.

60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium.
60 Minutes: The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee.) It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water.
60 minutes: As the rave inside of you dies down you’ll start to have a sugar crash. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You’ve also now, literally, pissed away all the water that was in the Coke. i can't find an article, but on my local news yesterday there was a man who found a huge wasp in his can of some drink made by coca cola. he called the company to report it and all they did was offer him a coupon for twelve more free cans.

They're both as bad as each other. Either the aspartame in the diet will rot your brain, or the sugar in the real stuff will clog your arteries.

And whatever one you choose, the caffeine and phosphorus will drain the calcium out of your bones.

I won't read anything bad about Coke, so I skipped the article. I love it too much to read anything bad, but if the stuff that happens to your body is good...welll all the better!

But we've all got our vices. I like diet pepsi myself.

There didn't seem to me to be anything majorly bad in the article. A few regrettable things, perhaps, but I didn't see it as spreading a bad message about Coke.

ohhh sure this not very healthy for you but gee you made it sound like it will kill you or something! i sure hope the coke company doesn't see this! not they probley care anyway as long as they sell the stuff i guess!
