Were there any main characters (I'm talking about all the kids and the parents here) that ever had to grow on you? Maybe you just didn't have interest in them at first, or flat out disliked them until you really started watching?
Well, for me, it'd be either Hyde or Fez. Honestly, I didn't really consider Hyde one of my favorite characters at first, but I can see how funny he can be (I like seeing scenes of him being uncharacteristic of his usual self, like the time he got caught dancing/singing to Frank Sinatra in the record store ) It's not that I DISLIKE him, but it took a while for his personality to grow on me. It also took me a while to realize how hilarious Fez is I used to find his outlandishness annoying, but I found myself laughing at a lot of the scenes he was in (and I consider him one of my favorite characters now, probably in the top 3 with Eric and Red). What about you guys?

I didn't really care for Hyde at first. He was always hitting on Donna and I thought he was a jerk but by the end of the first season, he was one of my favorite characters.

Kelso and Fez. With Kelso, he was the main reason I stayed away from the show as long as I did. But once I got watching the DVDs, I found him funny and likeable. As for Fez, I first thought, "Oh no, another funny foreign character. He's not as good as Latka or Balki." Which he wasn't. But I still found him funny. Mostly from season 2 on. And in the last season, although he was beyond crazy, I found him to be the funniest character in the show.

I liked all the characters from the very beginning, but I was a little "eh" with Jackie. She was always so bossy and would be whining about something. I warmed up to her pretty quickly though. I realized those are some of the best things about her character. Whenever she comes on now, I can't help but laugh. So like I said, it's not that I disliked her, I just cared for her the least. She's cool now though.
