for DVD releases I would say that it is most definately NOT a reliable source of information.

and that entry has ALREADY been removed.

No, it's still there. And now they have S11 (the final season) scheduled for DVD release on 11/25/08 which I think is too soon. That'd be so cool, though, but the question would be how will they release all those seasons in between S3 which will be next Sept. and that final season? I just hope no one's been fooling around and tampering with the wikipedia.

Wikipedia is definitely unreliable. It once said Conrad Bain (Maude, Diffrent Strokes) died on January 16, 2007. It turned out to be false and was removed but not before I posted the news on the Diffrent Strokes message board and got flak from other people for it. Please don't make the same mistake. Wikipedia just posts what it believes in the heat of the moment.

anyone can edit the information on Wikipedia, so if the information there doesn't referrnce reliable sources, don't believe it.

I think some people who edit over there just do it to cause grief. It's to bad they don't have something in place that nothing can get added before it's confirmed but that would probably take to long.

Wikipedia is very inaccurate. S11 in all likelihood, will not be released for another four years or more. As far as S3 is concerned, it'll likely be released sometime this fall, but I'm looking forward for S4's release, but it may not happen until next spring. You can only rely on Sitcoms On-line's newswire for any accurate information on upcoming releases.

Not true. tvshowsondvd.com is probably the best source for such information.

I didn't say Sitcoms Online wasn't reliable. You stated that one can "only" rely on Sitcoms Online which is far from the truth. There are other reliable sites out there, and one of the best is www.tvshowsondvd.com.

Now it's saying Laverne and Shirley Season 3 is due to be released on DVD on 9/18/07. Not sure if that's gonna happen with S3 of HD, L&S, and M&M, or they're doing it again. Messing around, I mean.
