Default SERIOUS HELP NEEDED IMMEDIATELY

Hi, me and my sister just got home from her friends Sweet Sixteenth Birthday, and she brought back an EXTREMELY drunk friend of hers. She is totally intoxicated. Since my sister can't miss the party, she left me in charge of her. The drunk girl is in the bathroom right now sleeping in the bathtub and throwing up every 10 seconds. I need some help on how to keep her safe. I've been checking on her every 1 minute. I also told her that when she feels better, laying down in the bed is a good suggestion. Any suggestions on to keep her safe is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The best thing to do is sleep it off. Where are your parents?

They're gone, if they find out we're in BIG trouble.

You shouldn't have to deal with that BS. That drunk is not your problem.

First off you have to make sure she will not choke on her vomit.

A bed or couch or any elevation will help.

Keep a bucket or bag or any receptacle next to her.

Let me tell you right off that any person in this state needs to be monitored constantly, even if it's a parent.

Give your parents some credit, they may surprise you.

It's not going to help and it may make it worse.

Don't do it.

Time is the only thing that makes it better.

Alcohol dehydrates you, so this girl is going to have a WICKED hangover when she finally comes out of it. Make her drink water when this happens.

I agree w/ everything else, especially the monitoring. Make sure she is near a bathroom at all times. Yeah, she's gonna be vomiting a lot... but she'll also need to pee and possibly have a bowel movement or two (there's no telling what alcohol will do to the bodily fluids in her digestive system).

She had the most pounding headache. We tried to keep it from her parents finding out but it didn't work. She's in deep trouble.

That's the dehydration at work here, FYI. I told you she was going to have a WICKED hangover. It was going to happen, regardless.

Drinking a full glass of water in between alcoholic drinks, as well as after the night is over, will help to reduce the potency of a hangover.

It served that girl right for underage drinking. Admittedly, I was underage the first time I got drunk (19) and I had a wicked hangover the next day too... My mom wasn't pissed off at me... She told me, "Let this be a lesson to you. A hangover is far more terrible than any lecture I could ever give you on underage drinking."

who cares what kind of trouble she's in, as long as she didn't overdose that what she should be concerned about. there are lots of things you can do to prevent/lessen a hangover next time you go drinking. go through the steps, drink safely, know your limits, and maybe you won't be panicing so much next time.
