What irked me about the whole alter ego of Stephon Urkel is why didnt Steve just break the freaking machine once he became Stephon.
As stephon he finally was able to get Laura's affection and was in general more liked by everyone. Was this whole Stephon thing suppose to be a life season about being happy on who we are? |

VERY GOOD OBSERVATION! I like. I like. However, he probably could have made more money by keeping the machine. It was sad that his parents introduced him to his grandparents for the first time when he changed up.

Stephon can't break the machine because if he did, Myra will never have Steve ever again

Actually, I think if Steve would have stayed Stefan that would have been the end of the show. They had to keep Urkel around. Though, in all honesty, Steve might have disposed of the machine at some point. I remember the "Trading Places" episode of season 9 where Stefan pretended to be Steve and Steve pretended to be Stefan. If he still had the chamber at that point, they could have played each other perfectly and Laura would never have caught on. Just thought I'd bring that up.

Oh my God, I'm so glad he never stopped being Steve! I loved Steve as much as I hate Stephan!

Wouldn't Stephon need to get recharged LOL! I haven't seen this show in a long time but I remember that Steve had to keep getting in the chamber or drinking this juice to stay the way he was. So trashing it was really no point LOL.

I think Steve changed that later on.
