That other thread inspired me to create this one. Anyone have any local commercials that are pretty famous in your city? Here are some that anyone who's anyone from Chicagoland should know by heart.

Yea Ive seen their commercials air here lately, but it's only recently. Empires been around in Chicago (with those same commercials) for like 30 years.

Empire Carpet I remember well, they advertised on WGN like mad when I was a kid. Now they are like nationwide.

I wanted to find a Billy Fuccillo commercial but apparently they're too annoying even for YouTube.

Two brothers, Barry and Elliot, own Jordan's Furniture. They've been making their own commercials for about 30 years.

There's a husband and wife, Bernie and Phyll, who own a chain of furniture stores called Bernie and Phyll's. They've been around forever too, and they star in their own commercials.

I hate most local commercials. They are such bad quality and the acting is so bad. I just don't get it. I mean, I know they have a small budget, but come on!

Over here in Scotland, there's a soda drink that you can only buy here, called Irn Bru. Their Ads are always funny, and their latest Christmas one is a hoot.
