Default OK I seen the Knicks/Nuggets Fight and it was not a

BRAWL like ESPN said it was. Damm this is a ******** network. It was just a Tussle between Nate Robinson and a Knick Player that lasted 2 minutes and then Carmelo punched the other guy and that's it. So why did they say a BRAWL??? And why didn't the league receive BLACK EYES in the 80's and 90's when players were FIGHTING?? So there is never supposed to be a Fight Again because of what Happenerd in Detroit 2 Years ago? That's BUllsh*T

I think the league is getting a black eye because of what NBA players do off the court these days. Come on Stephen Jackson carries a hand-gun and uses it? Pathetic. Iverson going crazy at a bowling alley, the list goes on and on. The NBA officials were embarrassed at the Olympics because of how NBA players were acting there, having their shirts off in the middle of the night, etc...people from other countries were rooting against the USA team because of this. NBA needs to clean up their image.

Yeah I can go along with that but don't tell me the League is getting a black eye because of a Fight on the court. That sounds ******** especially when there are fights all the time in other sports.

Yes, I don't think the league should get a black eye for this, but it does look bad because NBA is tightening their rules and the NBA players (most) behave badly off the court.

There are a lot of brawls in baseball, but baseball doesn't have an image problem. I guess the steroid situation is bad though.

The NFL can get away with it because the sport is very popular.

If two players go flying into the seats, it's a brawl.

You know what's pathetic?

Bringing up an incident that happened when the guy was in highschool and which he paid for.

Yeah, but Iverson backed it up with a thug lifestyle afterwards.

So much for living and learning.

A player's private life is non of our business, as long as it doesn't affect his
performance on the field, court or ice.

The court of public opinion and the Hall of Fame beg to differ.

And a player being arrested/ and or prosecuted is none of our business?

It's a matter of public record and everyones business.

I'm not talking about criminal actiivity,

I'm talking about your "thug lifestyle" comment. That in itself speaks volumes.
So you are judging the guy by the way he looks, or the company he keeps (friends from his childhhod), or is it something else??

As far as I know, after that one mistake in highschool, (which he paid for), what else has AI ever done?
On the court, the guy never ever dogs it, he plays hurt and nobody ever said he was a bad teammate - so what's the problem?

Get real. Beyond everything would you want your kid hanging out with him?

He got a second chance and still acts like a jerk off.
On the court or off the court or in court, he is a crap of a human being.

His trade value is so huge can't you tell?

Self centered, arrogant, and by his display in front of the media, not very intelligent at all.

Are we talking about practice?

I don't think a kid would be hanging out with an athlete but if you're talking about "role models", you can always teach kids that athletes are NOT role models.

That's a result of the contract in the "salary cap NBA" .
You are not simply trading for talent but the $$'s as well. The numbers have to work out for both sides before any trade can happen
