Check your local listings for Soul Train. Instead of showing repeats of recent episodes, they're showing classics from the archives. This weekend they're showing a 1975/1976 episode with War and The Main Ingredient. It's coming on at noon today (Saturday) on channel 11 for people here in NYC.

A better episode this week. From the 1981/82 season: Patti LaBelle and The Time.

I just read that this week's show will be from 1986, featuring James Ingram and Levert. The one after that is supposed to be one from 1974 featuring my man Al Green.

Some people may want to see that show since Gerald Levert recently died. |
