Default What was your favorite Becker Episode?

I have to say my favorite episode is when Linda accidently books Becker for a Gay Cruise.

I also liked the episode when Becker declares his love for Chris while she is having surgery and then tries to deny it later.

The Gay Cruise was riot. Becker and Reggie on the grounded plane is a scream.

I tend to like the more emotional shows. 'Subway Story' was a real heart tugger. John helps an old woman get to a certain stop in the subway, only to find out she's going to Ground Zero. It's her son's birthday, and he died on 9/11. We find that out in the final few minutes.

Jake's old high school friend, who was driving drunk in the accident that blinded him...comes back to ask for Jake's forgiveness.

The flashback episode where Becker and Margaret first meet.

The episode where John Mahoney guest stars as a priest. Excellent dialog about religion between him and Becker.

The subway story is a good one, it kind of shows the caring side of Becker.

The John Mahoney (from Fraiser) episode is a good one.

I also liked the episode with Frasier completing the 12 step program, where he apologizes to Becker for stealing his money, his gold watch and sleeping with his wife.

I loved the Flash Back Episode, Margret looks different but Becker still looked the same.

One of the funniest scenes to me was when Becker was about to have a rendezvous with his married ex-girlfriend from college (played by Jaclyn Smith).

They're in her hotel room, and while she's 'slipping into something more comfortable', lol....Becker's subconscious gets the better of him. Margaret, Linda, Jake, Reggie...even his third grade teacher show up to pile on the guilt. Even Bob makes an appearance, to cheer him on, of course.

Another funny episode is when Becker wrote a research article, and it was printed in a prestigious medical journal. They messed up, and put the wrong picture with the article -- apparently of an ugly man...we never see the picture.

After a lot of screaming by Becker and jokes at his expense by the gang, Becker ends up in the office of the guy who made the mistake...played hilariously by Wayne Knight (Newman on Seinfeld). Turns out he went to college with Becker and blames him for all his life's failure, and he put the wrong picture in on purpose. Becker begs him to reprint the article with the correct picture.

The final scene, Becker's in the diner, with the new magazine. Becker's picture is with the article, only this time, it's captioned, John Pecker!

That was a funny Episode, I like Wayne Knight he is very funny. I remember seeing him First on Seinfeld and then on Third Rock. He plays the role of the villan very well.

Thumbs up

I just watched the 3-parter, where Becker's patient is suing him -- claiming he caused a heart attack when Becker took him to the gym. Mariel Hemingway played Becker's lawyer.

The final scene is priceless, with Becker going off on everyone in the courtroom, including the Judge. I'd never seen Becker so upset. Classic episode.

Janice, that episode was so funny, especially when Becker borrows the classic line from Al Pacino "Your out of order, this whole court is out of order!" He gets thrown in jail, but he wins the case.

What about the Lawyer who wanted to show Becker his hemroids.

My fav episode is either the Gay Cruise or the one where Reggie gets the keg and can't get rid of it. Jake, Bob, and Reggie decide to drink all the beer and while they're drunk, Bob and Jake try coming up with inventions and start it off by going "First....you get a flat piece of metal..." Hilarious

The episode where becker dates a younger girl, but always gets chest pains on dates with her. He breaks up with the girl thinking that his chest pains are caused by his guilt of dating a younger girl, when end the end it was the MSG that Monks new chef used!!

The three part episode Small Wonder, Sue You & Trials and Defibrillations was also amazing...

But my all-time favorite episode is The Christmas episode "Dr. Angry Head" ...

Ant-Lox, the "Dr. Angry Head" episode was very funny, particularly since Becker hates Christmas so much and due to his back injury he is stuck in the Christmas display and forced to listen to Christmas music.
