Game Show Network helps "Gene Gene the dancing Machine" after wheelchair was stolen..
Ok, I saw on one of my local news channels the day before yesterday abt Gene Patton aka Gene Gene the Dancing Machine from the Gong Show and how his wheelchair was stolen. Gene is a diabetic who lost both his legs in 2001 due to the diabetes. He wears prosthetis on both his legs now, but also uses a wheelchair. The news story went on to say how his wheelchair was stolen and people (fans) wanted to help him. The news story also mentioned the Game Show Network gave him a new wheelchair.
I want to find a link to the story, but haven't been able to find anything on this story. I cannot remember what news channel I seen this story. Anyone else know abt it? |
