Question Voyager Timeslot

Next week, Spike TV begins showing Star Trek-Voyager with a weeklong marathon. Even though Voyager isn't one of my favorites of the Star Trek shows, I would like to see the episodes again. Does anyone know what the show's regular timeslot will be? I sure hope that it will be sometime in primetime and not in the middle of the afternoon where they have stuck DS9 and TNG. TNG was shown in primetime for a couple of years before it was put on in the afternoons, but DS9 was shown in primetime for only about a month before it was moved to the afternoons.

Spike TV is putting "Voyager" on weeknights from 5-7pm. (I hate that we only get 1 DS9 episode a day, but now that the DVD's are half price, I'm finally going to buy the one's that i'm missing. I won't need Spike anymore!)

2:00 Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
3:00 Star Trek: The Next Generation
4:00 Star Trek: The Next Generation
5:00 Star Trek: Voyager
6:00 Star Trek: Voyager

(Starts the week of the first)

Ever since I bought all the DS9 seasons on DVD, I pretty much gave up the reruns on Spike.

Your welcome.

Enjoy the episodes in the evening while they're there. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that Voyager will be shoved to the 1pm slot, before DS9, or they'll move DS9 to 1, and put Voyager on before TNG (at 2). I don't know why, I just think it'll be gone from 5-6pm after a month or so.....We will see.

I just looked at my Tivo guide, and it says that SpikeTV is starting Voyager from the Pilot episode on Tuesday. (January 2nd)

I don't know how I used to love Voyager when it was originally on (I mean the first few seasons)...Watching these beginning episodes again, I can't wait for Seven to get there already. I miss her a lot. The show picks up a lot, when she comes. (Kind of like when Worf comes to DS9).

I actually think that DS9 became great during season three when they got the Defiant and the Dominion became a threat.

Yeah, Season 3 of DS9 did get good in Season 3, but once Season 4 came around, it became a great. Same with TNG, IMO. It became a great show in the Third Season.

But as for Voyager, it wasn't bad, and I did like Kes, but Seven was such an aweseome character, and added a lot to the show. Things really picked up when she came. and without her, I don't thinkthe Borg would have become to Voyager, what the Dominion were to DS9, and the Klingons were to TNG.

I think that you mentioned that you bought the first season of DS9. Which are your favorite episodes from that season? Even though season one may be the weakest DS9 season (its a toss up between seasons one and two) I still think there are some good episodes. I love "Emissary", "Dax", "Duet" and "In the Hands of the Prophets". I also like "Captive Pursuit", "Progress" and "Dramatis Personae". My least favorites would have to be "Move Along Home" and "The Forsaken" ( I HATE Mrs. Troi with a passion. ).

I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually love the first and second season of TNG. Here's how I would rank the seven seasons of TNG:

1. Season four (1990-1991)
2. Season three (1989-1990)
3. Season two (1988-1989)
4. Season one (1987-1988)
5. Season five (1991-1992)
6. Season six (1992-1993)
7. Season seven (1993-1994)

Wow! Those are my favorite Season 1 episodes too. I also like "The Nagus." My top episode from that year is "Dramatis Personae".

And I agree, the first 2 seasons weren't that good.

What did you think of their uniforms during the first 2 seasons? I really didn't like them.
