Default Joyce on Inside Edition

Wow! Joyce is still angry over what went down between her and Suzanne Somers after 26 years. She needs to move on. Also, she is still mad about how it ended for her. Suzanne had moved on and made up with John Ritter she should make peace with Suzanne so she can moved on. It was the three of them that made the show except the sex jokes got tiring and Suzanne's dumb act got progressively worse especially in season 4.

Was it Inside Edition or THE INSIDER show?

I know that last week the Insider was going to repeat for the millionth time that interview they did with Joyce where she got upset abt Suzanne's name being brought up and she walked away from the interview. I had made a thread abt this several months ago.

IN all fairness, I haven't seen anything recent with Joyce and we really don't know what her feelins are now, so....I do think though that if she hasn't tried to move on somewhat, she should. But then again something TERRIBLE could have happened at that time that we don't know about, and she could have every reason to still be pissed.

I agree that she should've gotten over it by now, but she was deeply hurt. Some people take longer to get over things, but I wouldn't call them immature, they're just holding a grudge.

What exactly happened? Did she say she was mad at her in the interview or did she just get angry when asked the question about Suzanne? No one really seems to be considering the fact that maybe she has moved on and the reason she got angry is because she's sick of it being brought up because it won't allow her to move on. Don't jump to conclusions like that about people you don't know...

I remember watching the E True Hollywood Story on Three's Company about three or four years ago and Joyce was still raw about the whole thing about Suzanne Somers and the way her time on the show ended for her. If she didn't want to talk about Suzanne all she had to say is, "I preferred not to talk about it." Giving the suddenness of John Ritter's passing she and Suzanne should made amends not necessarily being the best of friends but bury the hachet. It's been over 25 years. Too bad for Joyce because Hollywood missed out on a great actress and we, as fans, got cheated because of Joyce's anger that is still lingering and have not done much of anything since Three's Company.

I've watched it before and I never really got the impression that she's still really angry at Suzanne, just that she was upset about what had happened. Of course it's going to seem like the whole fight is fresh when they're interviewing them right then and there about it. Besides, I think the THS was filmed at least 8 years ago.

Personally I still think Joyce is still mad at Suzanne for all that had happened because on Inside the subject came up and she answered in a rather hostile and defensive way. I understand some of the anger to a point because of the way Janet was written at first. They wrote her as heavy handed and plain Jane looking when in fact Joyce DeWitt is an attractive actress and a good one at that. When she got rid of that godawful perm after season 3 we saw more of Janet's features and she became more likable. Janet loosen up. Those early episodes I do not care for because of Janet's character and Suzanne's character was getting dumb down by the season. With Priscilla Barnes coming on the show Janet grew her hair out, dressed better and was more likable. The show overall during the Priscilla Barnes years became more mature and not full of sex jokes.
