I didn't know until recently, but apparently Andy appeared in a few 1st season episodes still as sheriff. I recorded a few marathon episodes a few years ago and only recently looked at the tape. In one episode, Mike was seeking Andy's advice on raising his son. One scene with Andy was in the courthouse. In another scene, Andy pulled up in the squad car. So apparently Andy was still sheriff in season 1, just not the focus of the show. Does anyone else have any information about Andy's role on RFD?
