I recently watched several episodes of the show on TV Land..

WoW!! They actually have black people.. TAGS NEVER showed any blacks!!

...other than in the pilot, "Gomer Pyle, USMC," where some of Gomer's fellow recruits were black; and in one later ep where a black man who had been a football player was coaching Opie's team when Opie had a conflict of football practice v. piano practice.

I knew that this subject would come up. There was a black lady that was an x-tra on one black and white episode. LOL. Oprah Winfrey said on her show the she loved TAGS "even though there wasn't nan(no) one black person on there." That cracked me up.
