You guys remember this one? The one where the guy follows the couple in a high speed cat and mouse chase and then shoots the man when confronted. I still wonder why. I know he pointed to the 49er license plate, but what can be said about this crime?

Well, it has been speculated that the killer was a disgruntled sports fan (the victim, Dick Hansen, had the physical stature of an athlete). But that remains just a theory.

The license plate also read something like "49rHugz." Wasn't it also theorized that the disgruntled sports fan had something against the 49'ers?

In any case... strange and sad segment.

The segment might have implied it, but it never explicitly said such a thing; it only mentioned the general theory of the killer being "a disgruntled fan".

I always thought the guy had applied for that identical personalized plate and was furious to discover it was already taken. Once he found the owner, no choice but to blow him away.

Dude, it was a joke. The point is, there is no theory out there in the universe that would cause this murder to make any sense. The killer was a nut. Awsi's theory is as good as the next guy's.
