jan. this stone is supposed to protect the wearer from nightmares and offer guidance though the dark.

feb. folk lore attached to this gem associates with sobriety,tranquillity,protection and peace and also has been linked to improving the skin and preventing bladness as well as protection from deceit

Ha, my birthstone could make me invisible. Which is great considering I think my birthstone (topaz) is the ugliest of them all.
