2007 is on the horizon! In case you haven't been informed, Ron Howard is going to be a grandfather. His daughter, Bryce Howard and her husband, Seth Gabel, are expecting a baby. For those whom have just arrived from The Andy Griffith Show message board, you would already know how Sheriff Taylor and Aunt Bee would feel about Opie becoming a grandfather in real life, but on the Happy Days message board, how do you think Mr. and Mrs. C are going to feel about Richie becoming a real life grandfather? That's something to think about! Of course, Fonzie would be overcome with joy. As 2007 arrives, we're all going to be thinking about and soon will be talking about Ron Howard's first grandchild. Think about Ron's father, Rance Howard-he'll be a great grandfather. Think about this, Opie Taylor and Richie Cunningham are the same man, and the All-American Boy, who's gone from Mayberry to Milwaukee to the Director's Chair, is going to be the All-American Grandfather. Imagine what Andy Griffith, Tom Bosley and Marion Ross are thinking about as Ron Howard's daughter, Bryce Howard is about to become a mother, herself. Imagine what Clint Howard is thinking about-his niece is going to be a mother. This will unquestionably be the story of the first half of 2007. Now, how do you think the rest of the Happy Days gang will feel about Richie becoming a real life grandfather? Chime in with your thoughts!

I'm sure they'll be happy for Ron. I certainly don't see it being nearly as big a deal as you're making it out to be, though. People have children all of the time. It's a routine part of civilization.

Well usually when one gets married they do have children and their parents become grandparents. It is wonderful but it is not so amazing.
