I completely agree with #1. In fact, that's what I'm drinking right now. Mmmm, coffee...

I especially agree with #3, but I've been known to become addicted to 4, 5, and 6 as well

Coffee, well yeah... most of you by now know about me and my coffee.

SHOPPING. UGH. I am such a compulsive shopper. My shrink says I'm definitely addicted (apparently compulsive shopping is a symptom of my 381 disorders) I have SO much stuff that I don't even need... I'm almost 18 years old and everyone in school my age has checkbooks and debit cards. My parents won't even let me take money out of my account by myself. My mom has to do it for me how pathetic is that, guys?! My account is almost drained. UGH WHO EVER INVENTED MONEY.

Needless to say, I have a problem.

Haha, remember that one thread Janice started a long time ago about this one sale her local grocery store was holding? I don't remember what it was exactly, but it had to do with coffee... She and her husband ended up getting like 40 cans of coffee... they went to separate checkouts so that they wouldn't figure out that they were together. And geesh, she drinks a TON of coffee...I'm lucky if I can finish a coffee can in a month, and I drink a LOT of coffee too.

I'm drinking one of those chocolate avalanche icy coffee's from The Coffee People right now!! Iv'e been craving one since about 7:00 pm yesterday evening, and I finally got one!! So, I definitely agree with that first one. Trying to enjoy as many of them as I can before the Starbucks buyout of them goes through. DAMN STARBUCKS!!!! The price has already gone up 50 cents.

What's up with nicotine being ranked at 10??? Aside from coffee, I probably know more people who are addicted to cigarettes, than the other 8 combined. I'm also kind of surprised that alcohol isn't higher on the list.

It's only one groups survey. I'm sure another group would have the numbers switched or different ones added. To me it's just something interesting andfood for thought. I believe I read somehere that 70 percent of Americans are overweight, so you would think that would be number one.

On coffee, my wife switched to Decaf years ago and I never found a difference. I gave up smoking, 3 packs a day(cold turkey), many years ago but cutting down on food just isn't that easy for me.

Guess everyone is different.
