Question Should undefeated Boise State go to the NCAA title game ...

... since they and #1 Ohio State are the only two undefeated teams left in Division I?

You just don't want to face Michigan again!

To be honest, Seth, I am not that big a Buckeye fan and don't care if Ohio State finishes the national champion; everyone here tends to ram the Scarlet and Gray down our collective throats and sometimes I root Michigan on just to spite them.

if boise st were in the big ten

they would finish about 9th

about the same spot as rutgers, louisville, and west virginia

the other undeserving teams that are pretemders

Boise State is a nice story, but Michigan is the second best team in College and deserves a rematch with the Buckeyes.

I think both Louisville and West Virginia would do quite well in the Big Ten - or Big Forty-Seven as it seems to have become. Rutgers not so much...

before anyone declares ohio state as the best team on the planet

just remember they got a real break on the schedule this year

they didnt have to make the trip to madison wi for their butt kicking

any ohio state fan knows what wisconsin has done to them over the last 15 years

we never seem to get over on michigan, but for some reason we match up well with osu

and at 11-1 this year, it would have been a very tough road win for sure

since wisconsin is 19-1 in their last 20 games at camp randall

and we had the best scoring defense in the big ten

this entire bowl thing could have been so different without the schedule void

We've had this same argument seemingly every year since the introduction OF the B(C)S (1998) about who should be #2 *cough*Michigan*cough* and we're no closer to a resolution, despite near-yearly tweaks.

Playoffs, anyone?

OK, it's been announced that Ohio State will face the Florida Gators Monday, January 8, in Glendale, Arizona.

good game

i would have taken michigan --ohio st

this game will be fine

the rose bowl could be fine, it matters who will handle being let down better

but the other three bcs games will purely suck

each has a pretender, notre dame, boise and louisville

the badgers got the best they could have by rule

no more than 2 teams from one conference can get a bcs game

arkansas also took the screw job as well on that one

the big ten and the sec easily should have had 3 bcs games

and probably a 4th with auburn as well

certainly ohio state gets the bid,

and then no one can argue michigan since they did win the game against wisconsin

so that leaves the badgers as the 3 seed in the big ten, and number 7 in the bcs overall

a great season for sure

the capital one bowl is the highest payoff game outside of the bcs series, so we will build on that, our team is very young, and return almost everyone

what really frosts my butt, is notre dame gets a bcs game

even though they played two quality teams and got run off the field both time by 20 something

i hope lsu destroys them

With that logic then a second Ohio State-Michigan encounter, which many were anticipating, would have been ruled out.

i dont follow you

michigan was eligable for the bsc.\, any of the 5 games

they had one loss just as florida did

michigans loss was to number one, on the road, by 3

floridas loss was on the road by many more, to a lower ranked auburn team

a case could be made for either team to play ohio state

in my mind, michigan won the game for a couple resons

first they went to osu and only lost by 3

second

the osu td play to win had a open field hold that was not called

third

previous to that play

smith was stopped 10 yards short of a first down, but a helemt to helmet hit was called and gave osu a first down

the exact same play happened on saturday when usc hit ucla qb with about 2 minutes to play

square on his hat

they replayed it on tv about 8 times

what a great hit...............said the announcers

never called a penalty

if folks claim michigan had their shot at osu

then fine

but florida had their shot against auburn and they failed as well

so what

no one plays osu?????????????????????????????????????????

the voters got it wrong all year

so whats new
