Question Last Episode

What do you think the last episode of Simpsons will be like? I think Homer's going to die in the last episode.

I think the producers of the show will want to branch off characters into spinoffs and keep them alive and well for movies in the future. If someone dies, it'll be someone obscure or unimportant. The strength of the show is that it never changes, so I think the final program will just be a basic episode like any other.

When the nuclear holocaust occurs, three things will remain. Cockroaches, Cher, and the Simpsons. I don' know, the energizer bunny might still stick around.

It's a pretty safe bet that Homer will not die in the last episode. The cast recently renewed their contracts for two more seasons, and the new deal calls for a feature film to be made after the series ends, with an option for a sequel. Matt Groening has already stated that he's planning to advance the timeline in the first movie, with the kids older and Bart old enough to have a girlfriend.

Homer will DEFINATELY not die, you person that can't seem to shake that idea. A creepy plot would be for the Simpsons to become famous and move to Hollywood. Another idea would be that there is a huge song and dance at the end, showing classic Simpsons episodes.

Oh, yeah. I just realized that for 13 years, Lisa and Bart have been in the same grades in school. Now eihter they're really stupid and were held back or Homer invented a youth formula.

I hope that the Simpsons doesn't end. I mean after 9 years Family Matters completely lost it's touch and after 13 years, Archie Bunker was cancelled. After 11 seasons, Married With Children was cancelled. So I think that The Simpsons should be a show like Saturday Night Live (not in corny content by the way), but should last at least 20 years.

Hi everyone! I'm new here!

I thought that Behind the Laughter from two seasons ago would have been a good series ender, but it will most likely be a clip show. How can you put an end to such a classic series?
I know this isn't possible, but it would be fun for them to give us the state that Springfield is in for for them to have some shocker like the whole series has happened within the course of one or two years and that's why nobody ages. Yes, I know there are flaws with that one, but oh well.
