Default Tonights Ep 11-28

Oh my goodness I was so impressed with the writers tonight this was just like a normal gilmore ep it had everything the town, a town festival, Rory and all her college friends, the Grandparents and Lorelia and Rory were talking like they normally do with each other oh my gosh this was so good. I loved the begining when Emily played her answering machine and Lorelia came on and said her and chris are back from there trip GiGi is all settled in on and um chris and I got married that was so funny how big of deal she made out of it just like normal. And the Town Festival that was classic I miss those to bad Chris broke it up early everybody was sad they wanted to knite for 7 hours. Chris is a ****** he doesn't fit in with that town at all. I did feel sorry for Luke when he saw Lorelia and Chris walking around town. Also I was so glad at the end cause I was getting scared there that Luke was going to let Anna walk all over him again like she did with the whole Lorelia being in April's life thing but he went to Anna and told her he won't put up with her talking April with her to New Mexico. Luke is such a good dad I feel so bad he missed half of April's life and all those firsts when she was a baby poor guy you could tell he was thinking that when he held Liz and TJ's kid how he wished that could of been him holding April at that age. This whole season I just feel sorry for Luke I mean he lost Lorelia then the diner is wrecked and now after Lorelia told him in the 2nd ep that Chris wasn't her boyfriend all of a sudden finds out they got married and now he might lose his daughter that poor guy what else can they do to him gosh hasn't he been through enough give the guy a break. But all in all this was my favorite ep this season fallowed by Lorelia's first Catilion.

Great episode last night! I was impressed. Emily saving that message was classic. And almost EVERYONE from the Stars Hollow was involved, which is always good.

Sorry, but I DID NOT feel bad for Luke when he saw Lorelai and Christopher. He's getting what he deserves. He treated Lor like crap all year last season, and now it's time he got his!...I did however feel bad for him, with Anna wanting to take April away. He's really grown close to her.

....THEY GOT MARRIED?!?!?!

I guess this is what happens when work and school take over your life so much that you miss the entire season of Gilmore Girls. =(

Does anyone know when they will begin showing repeats?

How did Luke treat Lor like crap?? I mean, granted, he made some really bad decisions on how to handle the April thing, but he did not treat her like crap all last season.... I don't see it.

I actually think that's the direction they need to put Lorelai in. Not mad at the guys, though. I think she should let them both go, and be on her own for a while. I think she should be dependent on herself. I want her to be like when the show first started out.

I was very impressed with this episode too. The writing really clicked.
It's very funny that so many fans of the show noticed such an imporvement in the quality of the writing in this episode. I was having a few drinks with a fellow Gilmore Girls fan on Friday night. FIrst, she asked me if I saw the episode yet, (I did) then the next thing she said to me was "I bet you thought that epsiode was the best one of the season so far."

She was right.

It was said on more than 1 occasion that new show runner David S. Rosenthal loves to write for Liza Weil. If only he could make US see that he loves to write for her and actually put her in more than 10 minutes, every 2 episodes.
