Default What are you currently recording?

Thought it would be interesting to see what others are currently recording straight from TV.I imagine there are alot that record just about all they can but for me,it's just a few older things.I'm relatively new to recording TV shows so it's been fun and new.
I was recording The Waltons on Hallmark for a little over a month but that ended last week as Hallmark pulled the show. I got about 44 episodes and was hoping for much more.
The last few weeks I've been recording Green Acres every Tuesday from TV Land on the 2 hour block from 10 to noon.I'll probably start doing the same with the Wednesday Leave it to Beaver 2 hour block when season 3 starts. That is if TV Land dosen't change their schedule first
My local Pax channel airs Happy Days and the first episode started yesterday.I didn't record it as I have the first season retail set already.I may start recording it when the second season starts.

happy days, green acres, and beaver all have great collector made sets that are avaible

would it not be better to record something that isnt easily avaible

after all your efforts, its really not much of a trade market, for sets that already have been around for quite a while

you could easily get these three, already done, for other things that arent avaible, i think you could have a far better return, for all your hard work

there are probably 25 shows that are airing right now, that i would like to swap for

a good rule of thumb is to look around first

a lot of sets are allready out there and it makes no sense to do a set that everyone allready has UNLESS the new set is way better quality

also check what is commercially available----noone wants a set of MASH off the tv when the whole series is released

also check the cable guides--- a lot of speciality channels are out there, black channels, western channels, nostalgic channels, and there are lots of shows that NOONE has yet

no sense in 10 people doing the same show

i was doing a set of BENSON until i found out 2 or 3 others were doing a set too

I would have to agree with Lamont. Look at HIS list before anyone eles's...Lamont is known to have or get, usually acquires the BEST quality shows out there, period, hands down, before anyone else.... Why duplicate shows?

Of course, for beter quality, but I think it is ridiculous to duplicate what's already been done and authored...unless folks won't trade with you, and youhave to make your own set(s) LOL just look at folks lists..the work has already been done...just be patient, and you will find what you're looking for..and like Lamont says, there's many shows out there NOT being recorded yet or offered on someone's list.. for anyone wanting shows? Check out Lamont's list First! WHy? His catalouge is amazing! He's friendly, courteous, always helpful, and he will surely direct you to others or find you what you need or looking for... I do, and look at my list! I have many new updates to add in December, so my site will be revamped all over again! FUn Stuff, Cool Stuff, and stuff you don't have....that's the idea, right? Joker? PLayoffs? Superbowls?

p.s. am finishing up trades, so check your mail soon! gotta run now
