I hope this is true. It would be soooo great to finally have Season 2 out on dvd. But April seems a bit off to already have a release date. And I'm surprised they would reveal this info so soon considering it's months away from the scheduled date. Maybe they are shooting for this date while they are working on the releases. Either way, I hope we see L&S Season Two in early 2007!!!

I really hope that this is true! While it seems a bit sketchy, perhaps it is truth. I'm not going to keep my hopes up, but I'll secretely be wishing until then

i am going to share MY opinion with you about this - i don't have anything to back this up, so dont go assuming that THIS is true either...

sometimes Amazon or other sites will put expected titles with NO RELEASE DATE up on their site with a "made-up" release date that is more than 6 months away. They usually put a disclaimer up there that it is NOT OFFICIAL, and "may be subject to change". I think that it is possible that the individual at Paramount couldn't find a scheduled release date and gave out the tentative date from one of those places instead.

I say dont believe it until we get an OFFICIAL word FROM PARAMOUNT.

Just checked with a reliable source online and there is nothing posted on there about an upcoming release of season 2. Sounds kind of fishy to me! Would love for it to be true though......

Yeah, it does sound fishy especially considering the release date is months away. Too bad. We've been waiting for this for a long time.

well i know that the MUSIC rights to these shows are a big roadblock

they need to sell more than average sets to make up for those fees
and i dont believe they met the mark on season 1 of any of them

So Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, and Mork and Mindy only had three seasons each? Last I checked, HD had eleven (10½ considering its first season was the second half of the 1973-74 campaign), L&S had eight (7½ considering its first season was the second half of the 1975-76 campaign), and M&M had four.

I'm confused here!

I think they meant all 3 combined seasons would released on the same release date. That is, Season 2 of each show. Three shows. That makes 3 season sets. Not 3 seasons per show.

I'm usually the optimist but why would they release 2 seasons at the same time?

That would be great if they did. However the rumor is that they are releasing the 2nd season of Mork and Mindy, Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley.

If it is true, then, I hope they don't wait another three or four years before releasing the remaining seasons of these shows.
