First off let me say I am not as disgruntled as some may think this morning. I am proud of the offense, they looked good last night & with the exception of a few bonehead playcalls by you know who, I was satisified the way the offense played. I can't say enough about Brian westbrook. THat kid brings it every week & I am proud of him. Jeff Garcia Played well. He managed the game well, made some good crisp passes & for the most part looked good. The offensive line played very well & kept freeney in check most of the game.

On the other hand, the Defense was absolutely appalling & with the exception of lito shepard, the rest of them should be ashamed of themselves. An absolutely disgraceful display of defense. I understand why Jim Johnson started in Nickel on 1st downs, because of the no huddle they could not get the proper people on the field for the nickel downs. But you would think when your getting the ball run down your throat you would make an adjustment or 2. Is that 2 much to ask????? I guess it is wrong to assume my coaching staff is smart enough to see what is going on out there. The tackling is awful, the linebackers are god awful except for Trotter & they should be mortified when they look at themselves in the mirror today.

Bottom line even if the had DMAC in there, the eagles were losing last night, they were gashed all night on the ground & the defense didn't get off the plane for the game. So were making progress 50% of my team showed up for the game, now if we can only get both sides to function at the same time we may actually win a game down the stretch!!!

I still want to know why Trotter is the spokesperson for the Eagles Defense-lol
