Default House vs. Tritter

I just have to say that I am very curious to see how this battle ends. I am also interested in seeing who betrays House. Right now...I'm guessing either Wilson or Foreman. I think I would like to rule out Chase, because he betrayed House once already. Of course, I guess that wouldn't rule him out either. I think Wilson is a possibility, because he's already betrayed House once already this season. Remember...he lied about House curing the man confined to the wheelchair at the beginning of the season. Plus, I think House practically ruining Wilson's life and practice by what he did could be the last straw for Wilson. He may finally be tired of covering for House. This also isn't the first time House has almost ruined Wilson's career. In season one, House pulled a stunt against the new board of directos that almost cost him and Wilson their jobs. House is smart though. He knows Tritter is trying to push the limits to get what he wants...maybe beacuse he does the same thing. Right now, House just seems to go around trying to convince everyone else not to give in to Tritter, because he is well aware of what Tritter is trying to do. Each character is aware of boundaries, but I do think House in a sense realizes his limits. Tritter, on the other hand, seems to exercise no boundaries. He'll push his power to get what he wants. House just does what he wants anyway, but he does it with a greater purpose in mind. In any case, I think this is a great storyline. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Default House, Tritter, and Judas

Based on the events from the last episode, I sensed Wilson would most likely betray House. Chase is my second choice since he betrayed House before. Chase also got the real diagnosis on the little girl who was about to go under the knife and tried to stop House only to get punched in the face. For a moment, I thought Chase would drop in Tritter's office at the end to pull his second Judas by betraying House. I would like to see how the conflict between House and Wilson and the House vs. Tritter storyline will both turn out.

I had a feeling Wilson would be the one to turn in House. After hearing what happened to Cuddy and Chase, I think Wilson felt this was his chance not to hurt House but to help him. I think Wilson realized that House had gone too far with his "mean" streak. He, like everyone else, was used to House being, as Cuddy put it, "rude." They never saw him be down right mean, which is exactly what happened when he started to detox. Of course this also isn't the first time House has gone through detox. His judgement was impaired, I believe, both times. And Chase getting the diagnosis correct, during this episode, was like a slap in the face. I have to say, I didn't like "mean" House either. I as well am used to him just being rude and funny. He was just down right nasty to everyone and so not focused on his job. Kudos to Hugh Laurie for some great performances these past few episodes, especially this one.

I was surprised that Chase ended up getting the diagnosis this time instead of House. Usually, Chase, Foreman, Cameron or all of them would be on the right track in finding the real illness but House would end up discovering it. I was taken aback when he punched Chase because I don't think House would ever throw a punch or do physical harm. If I remember, House was once at the receiving end of the fist.

House is more of the rude and funny-type who may constantly pop pills but his mind remains razor sharp as his wit and Houseisms. His mean streak was unexpected but since he was denied his pills, he could not think clearly and acted much nastier than usual towards everyone around him. That said, Hugh Laurie did an excellent job as always and he is the main reason why I watch the show (or as I tell my parents, have an appointment with House).
