Default Dennis The Menace - "Lost Episodes"?

I seem to remember seeing two episodes of Dennis The Menace on TV about 20 years ago, but I can't find them in any kind of episode list. I'm wondering if anyone has any answers.

The first one was a Christmas episode. I don't remember much about it (which isn't surprising, given how long ago I saw it). I do remember Dennis The Menace trying to play "Silent Night" on his drum and at the end, the whole family sang the song, like they do at the end of every Christmas episode.

The other one I remember was about Dennis trying to get to Emerson City. Much of this episode takes place down at the police station. Also at the very end of this episode, I remember Mr. Wilson trying to dig wood cement out of the holes in his bowling ball.

Does anyone remember these episodes? I can't believe they're not listed in any of the episode guides I've seen.

Yes, but you've got your episode memories mixed up. There was a show where Dennis fills Mr. Wilson's bowling ball with wood cement. But it wasn't a Christmas show. He was running away from home to go visit his grandfather and the police picked him up. Dennis won't give his name or address so the cops bring him into the station. There he handcuffs the Chief who so happens to be the same one Mr. Wilson was going to have a bowling contest with that night. The Chief has to call Wilson to cancel cause Dennis drops the cuff keys down the heater grate. Mr. Wilson now thinks his team will win without the Chief on the opposite team but when he gets to the bowling alley he discovers his ball filled with cement. And is crying as he digs it out, knowing he's going to lose what he thought was a sure thing.

And Dennis did sing Silent Night just as in all Christmas episodes but it wasn't the drum he was trying to play Silent Night on it was a bugle. Causing everyone pain.

I have all episodes of Dennis the Menace now transferred to DVD from my own tape collection. I"ve practically memorized the series since I've been watching it once or twice a week now for 18 years.

Actually, I didn't have my episodes mixed up, since I said it was the other episode I remember, but is not in any of the episode guides. Since you have seen both episodes I mentioned, do you happen to remember when in the series they are shown?

One thing they have in common is that Mrs. Wilson was wearing different glasses (with darker frames) than she was in the other episodes I saw, which is one reason I was thinking they were earlier episodes, but apparently not, since the pilot episode was the one where Dennis sneaks into the theater to watch a movie that his parents refused to take him to see.

There really aren't any lost episodes. I have both of these episodes, they are no more lost than any of the other episodes.

Wink lost episodes

i just got done watching dennis running away to visit his grandfather.the police pick him up and he gives his name as jesse james.good old mr wilson's bowling ball has it's holes filled.this is a typical dennis classic episode.
the 3 christmas shows are some of my favs that i watch every year.
this show is very underated and will probably never be released on dvd!
i would buy a bootleg if needed to insure my desire to see this show.
as far as lost episodes, they are all avaliable.
