Cool 14 DAY ME-TV "FACTS OF LIFE" SCHEDULE

OK, FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE VERY FORTUNATE TO GET ME-TV (CHANNEL 23) OR ME-TV ON COMCAST (CHANNEL 223), I'VE DECIDED TO LIST THE TV SCHEDULES, FOR WHOEVER WANTS TO TAPE A PARTICULAR EP.

THEN AGAIN, IS THERE ANYONE, WHETHER ON LOCAL OR CABLE CHANNELS, WHO DECIDES TO RECORD ONLY SPECIFIC EP'S WHEN THEY ARE ON AIR? PERHAPS YOU HAVE YOUR LIST OF "LEAST FAV EP'S", AND SO WHEN THEY APPEAR, YOU DECIDE NOT TO TAPE IT AT ALL.

I'M CURIOUS TO FIND OUT THE RECORDING STYLINGS OF OTHER FACTS FANS.

AS FOR ME? WELL, IF I HAVE A TAPE (NOW A DVD-R AS OF YEST), I DON'T CARE WHAT EP IS ON. I'M RECORDING IT. I HAVE DUPLICATES MAYBE BECAUSE THE PICTURE QUALITY MIGHT'VE BEEN BETTER, OR MAYBE BECAUSE MY FAVORITE SHOW IS ON, AND I HAVE TO TAPE IT, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. I GO OUT OF MY WAY TO GET MY FACTS TAPED! I STILL WOULD TAPE SEASONS 1-3 IF THEY RE-AIRED ON ME-TV. IN FACT, I THINK I'LL GIVE THOSE TO MY NEICE WHO JUST TURNED 14 TODAY. I INTRO'D HER TO FACTS WHEN SHE WAS STAYING WITH ME & THE GREAT ME-TV WAS JUST STARTING TO AIR FACTS. HER FAV IS NATALIE, BECAUSE SHE IS FUNNY AND HAS A GREAT OUTLOOK ON MATTERS. FACTS-THE GIFT THAT JUST KEEPS ON GIVING.

ANYWAYS...HERE'S THE 14 DAY EP SCHEDULE FOR FELLOW CHI-TOWNIANS & SUBURBANITES:

11/20-11/24/06

MON 11/20-GONE WITH THE WIND-PART 1
TUES 11/21-GONE WITH THE WIND-PART 2
WED 11/22-THE LAST DRIVE IN
THURS 11/23-CHRISTMAS IN THE BIG HOUSE
FRI-11/24-IT'S LONELY AT THE TOP

11/27-12/1/05

MON 11/27-OUT OF THE FIRE
TUES 11/28-INTO THE FRYING PAN
WED 11/29-GRAND OPENING
THURS 11/20-MEN FOR ALL SEASONS
FRI 12/1-TEACHER, TEACHER

GO BEARS!

I'm happy to see that Me-Tv is showing "Christmas In The Big House" on Thanksgiving. That is my favorite of all the Christmas episodes.

Hi Jodi. Glad to see that you are back.

HEY DAX

I'M ACTUALLY LEAVING IN A FEW MIN'S FOR THE WEEK, AND I'LL BE BACK ON HERE SOMETIME IN THE COMING WEEK.

I CAN'T THINK OF THE TITLE EP, BUT MY FAV IS WHERE BLAIR TRIES TO BUY JO A TIX TO FLORIDA TO VISIT HER MOM, AND THINGS DON'T GO AS EXPECTED. WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU EXPECT FROM A STUBBORN JO, RIGHT? ANYWAY, THE LAST SCENE, IS ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAV'S. ESPECIALLY WHERE BLAIR SNEAKS IN & SHE AND JO TALK. IT IS ONE OF MY FAV BLAIR & JO MOMENTS. REALLY, THOUGH, I JUST LOVE THIS WHOLE EP

I first epiosde that I watched last December, which got me hooked on the show, was "Atlantic City", so with in the next week or so I will have seen every episode. It will be sort of sad that there will no longer be episodes that I haven't seen.

I am looking forward to seeing "Come Back to the Truck Stop, Natalie Green, Natalie Green." It sounds like a lot of fun.

WOW! ME-TV HAS SHOWN ALL THE EP'S IN A YEAR?

THERE ARE SOME THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN, MAINLY FROM SEASON 9, BECAUSE I WAS OUT IN THE WORLD THEN, GROWN UP, JUST LIKE THE GIRLS. I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THE ONE WHERE JO'S TEACHER HAS CANCER (THAT I CAN REMEMBER ANYWAY), TEACHER, TEACHER (ALTHOUGH NOW I JUST TAPED IT-LOVED THE EP), AND WHERE SHE GETS MARRIED. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

I ONLY WAS ABLE TO SEE THE EP'S WHEN THEY WERE ORIG BROADCAST, OR IF THEY WERE ON REPEATS, LIKE SAT A.M. I NEVER HAD CABLE GROWING UP AND ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO, I HAD IT FOR ONLY A FEW MONTHS, BUT FACTS WASN'T ON AT THAT TIME. ONLY IN THE PAST YEAR HAVE I HAD SATELLITE & CABLE, BUT ALAS, NO FACTS. I HAVEN'T HAD THE CHANE TO SEE FACTS ON TVLAND, USA OR ANY OTHER STATION THAT EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT BECAUSE OF THE EP'S BEING CUT FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER

SO, WHEN ME-TV FIRST STARTED TO AIR FACTS LAST YEAR, I WATCHED & TAPED THE EP'S MOSTLY EVERYDAY. WHEN I MOVED IN JAN DOWNSTATE HOWEVER, NO ME-TV, THEREFORE, I STILL MANAGED TO MISS JO EP'S I HAVE NEVER SEEN. NOW, BACK IN CHI-TOWN, I AM TAPING THE EP'S ONCE AGAIN, NOT PLANNING TO MISS ANY I HAVEN'T SEEN. BUT ONCE AGAIN, I MANAGED TO MISS THE ONE WHERE JO'S TEACHER IS DYING. FROM EVERYTHIING I'VE READ, IT SOUNDS LIKE AN EXTRAORDINARILY GREAT EP FEATURING JO AND NANCY'S DRAMATIC GREATNESS.

ALTHOUGH, I HAVE SEEN MANY OF THE EP'S OVER AND OVER, WATCHING EP'S THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN IS LIKE EXPERIENCING THE EXCITEMENT OF FACTS ALL OVER AGAIN; AND I REMEMBER WHILE WATCHING IT THE FIRST TIME AROUND, FROM 11 Y/O UNTIL IT ENDED, THE APPRECIATION I HAD FOR THIS SHOW, THE GIRLS AND THE OUTSTANDING ACTORS THAT THEY ALL WERE.

NOW WATCHING FACTS, I STILL HAVE THAT SAME APPRECIATION. IT NEVER WANED.

I SMILE WHEN I THINK ABOUT HOW I KNEW EVEN AS A KID, THAT THIS SHOW WAS SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL.

"Teacher's Pet" is my favorite episode. It is just really, really good. And, yes, Nancy is terrific in the episode. It is a very moving episode. I'm surprised that you never saw it since it is a fourth season episode. I'm thinking that maybe you did see it but just don't remember it since it was way back in 1982. That episode aired when I was in second grade. Quite a few of the people on this board were not even born yet.

The episode where Jo marries Rick, "Till Marriage Do Us Part", is one of my least favorites. One of the reasons being that I cannot stand Rick! I don't know what Jo saw in that guy.

There are actually quite a few 9th season episodes that I don't much care for like "It's a Wonderful Christmas", "Peekskill Law", "The First Time" (way overrated) and "Big Apple Blues". I think the 9th season was by far the show's weakest. Still, there are a couple like "Less Than Perfect" and "Rumor Has It" that I do really like.

YEP, YOU'RE RIGHT MIKE. I DID SEE TEACHER'S PET WHEN IT FIRST AIRED. I REMEMBERED RIGHT AWAY, WHEN THE EP STARTED. I CRIED BACK THEN, TOO. I SAY "TOO", BECAUSE, YEP, IT DONE IT TO ME AGAIN

OK, THANKS TO MIKE (BECAUSE ME-TV DOESN'T HAVE THE EP'S LISTED SO FAR FOR THIS WEEK) I HAVE THIS WEEK'S EP GUIDE.

MON-"3,2,1" ( LISA SAID THIS IS HER FAV EP. IT'S ONE OF MINE, TOO)

TUES-"BALLROOM" JO IN A DRESS DANCING. NEED I SAY MORE? OK, I WILL. NANCY LOOKED STUNNING HOW'S ABOUT ROUND THREE OF "DANCING WITH THE STARS" NANC? OOPS. YEAH. FORGOT ABOUT THAT.

WED-"TOOTIE DRIVES" HILARIOUS EP, AND AGAIN, ANOTHER FAV OF MINE

THURS-"THE STAKEOUT"

FRI-"THE AGENT"

"Ballroom Dance" was on this afternoon. I thought it was a good episode, though not nearly as good as "3,2,1". I think my favorite scene is the one where Blair is dancing with George. I also think that Jo looked wonderful in the final dance scene. She looked really classy and very un-Jo like.

ALTHOUGH IT APPEARS MANY DON'T LIKE "IT'S A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS, I LOVE IT

GLAD THEY'RE DOING "CHRISTMAS IN THE BIG HOUSE" TOO, FOR YA MIKE

THIS IS GOING TO BE A GREAT WEEK. I LOVE ALL THOSE EP'S, EXCEPT I DON'T REMEMBER OFF-HAND ABOUT "MOLLY'S HOLIDDAY".

CONCENTRATION IS VERY MOVING, AND HAD WRITTEN ABOUT IT IN MY TRIVIA.

Didn't you watch "Molly's Holiday" on the first season DVD? It is the episode where Molly's father comes up to Eastland to visit her and he brings his new girlfriend with him. A good episode but I'm not sure what it has to do with Christmas. Maybe the powers-that-be at ME-TV saw "holiday" in the title and thought it was a Christmas episode.

WELL, THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS, BUT THAT IT WAS IN WITH THE OTHER X-MAS EP'S.

THAT'S OK. OFF-HAND, MIKE, DO YOU KNOW IF THERE ARE OTHER X-MAS EP'S THAT ME TV IS NOT SHOWING THIS YEAR? I DON'T REMEMBER THEM DOING ALL THESE LAST YEAR.

ALSO, ABOUT THE ONE WHERE NAT GETS THE CREDIT CARD. THAT HAS A CHRISTMAS THEME TO IT? OH MY GOODNESS! THERE ARE SOOO MANY FUNNY LINES IN THAT EP. I WROTE THEM DOWN IN MY TRIVIA, AND AS I WAS JUST GOING OVER IT, I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD. ESPECIALLY THE LOONEY-LOU ONE LINE BY JO!
