Default "Beautiful Girls" 11/19/06

ABC promo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqOCAcxq_ak

Susan and Ian's relationship goes to the next level, Gabrielle takes a shot at training potential young beauty queens, and Lynette is intrigued by a new neighbor.

Clips from abc.com:

Susan and Rupert(Ian's butler meet). This is hilarious.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJn1LV9yMtQ

Gabby has a new job... teaching pageant girls. Slightly boring.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V81IrtmqlzI

and on abc.com:

http://abc.go.com/fsp/index.html?cha...rateHousewives

Lynette and Art talk in the street, she denies she went inside the house, but then Parker comes out and tells the truth. Doesn't mean the suspicious things in the basement.

A bit of an odd episode. Susan and Gabby's plots were meh(not as bad as I thought though). Lynette and Art's stuff was bizarre, I can't figure out what the deal is with that, but Bree/Orson/Gloria blew EVERYTHING away. WOW. More mystery revealed and yet more questions... I am so very confused. Oh and tying into that, I can't figure out Mike. The police are watching your every move, but you go and try to bury the toolbox with the slam dunk evidence? The police had already searched the house, found nothing, it would have been perfectly hid at the house, so why did you do that? I hope he didn't kill Monique, but how else do you explain it? I'm confused as to how this ties back to Orson though and why all of Monique's teeth were removed(that makes me very suspicious about Orson) and how does the mother know so much? She's supposedly been in a nuthouse for a long time, and finally where is Alma? I don't think she's dead, but where is she?

Orson used Mike's toolbox I think to kill someone. Mike doesn't remember if he killed or not, and I don't think he did.

See, that's what I thought, but why was Mike's phone number written on her hand? It doesn't seem like Orson/Mike knew each other before Mike's dentist visit in the finale last season right before he was run down, so I don't get it.

and once again, I don't know how the mother knows so much. It seems that the Monique murder happened fairly recently(as in within a few months of the hit and run), wasn't she in that home then? Orson and her had no contact so she must have been getting info from someone outside? Alma? I think the episode title for Sunday "The Miracle Song" might be of significance... someone we thought was dead is alive=miracle. Hmmmm.

I've learned not to attribute too much significance to the episode titles. They're song titles (or, in at least one case, a lyric), almost always by Sondheim, and while they usually fit the episode plot it's sometimes a bit of a stretch.
