I have a couple of her songs on my ipod. Apparently, there is supposed to be a movie about her life.

I hope they do the movie, but not with Pink, Renee Zellweiger would be a better choice.

Dragster your right she did alot for women in rock, and I think she is so under appreciated.

Just like Jimi and Jim Morrison it seems with time moving on the greats aren't appreciated as much.

Last I heard, Zooey Deschanel is playing her in the film. I think it's called "Gospel According to Janis" and it's due to be released in 2008.

I didn't like her much back when she was alive. At the time I didn't understand what all the hype was about. But now that I am older I like her music.
