I did it this year already and my time was 6 min 10 seconds.. I dunno if that's good or not. But in gym I usually stay out of the running sports. In gym I just usually swim or lift weights

ROFL, my FASTEST time ever was 9 minutes, 28 seconds. My slowest time, 17 minutes on the dot. I usually averaged around 12 or 13 minutes, though. Actually, I didn't really RUN it. I walked most of it. I probably only ran 1/4 each time. I'm just not a runner.

Karli, don't misunderstand this question. You might want to double check your time. I'm a distance runner and have been most of my life. So I know what that time, run by an untrained 14?? year old girl, would mean to any coach who happened to be paying attention. You would be aggressively recruited to the cross country and track team. If your time is correct you should consider that.

Totally, Karli. If you can run a mile in that amount of time and you have never trained and rarely run, then you have a gift. You should really consider running track because you would have many coaches across the country looking at you. That time is amazing for someone who rarely runs!

We run a mile before each gym class. We don't time ourselves though. Anyway, I haven't run it in a while -- I'm taking health this marking period

Bad subject to bring up with me.LOL. I walked a mile in lets see 15min. LOL. I haven't ran one yet. I just..can't. It takes 4 laps around the track to make 1mile at my school. I can only run 1 lap continuously and then I get too tired and it hurts when I breathe so I walk a lap then run one...You get it.

But I have never timed it that way.

Nancysbiggestfan: I called the felony division of theSFPD They were quite concerned about your conditioning routine. They asked me to advise you too please pump it up a notch. They said that they want you to be able to out run the bad guys.

Cool

I can run 10 miles in 30 seconds, LOL!

Seriously, I'm not much of a runner. I think my best time was 11 minutes or something like that.
