When I was about four or five, I was scratched in the eye by a stray cat that I was trying to play with outside my home. I don't remember much about it as I was so young, but I did have to go to the hospital to have the wound cleaned and I had to wear a patch on my eye for a few weeks until the scratch healed. I also believe I was given a tetanus shot, to be on the safe side.

Cats many times, Bird once or twice, and a turtle many times. Never had to get any medical attention and they werent serious. They were all pets of ours that were safe.

Cat-Too many times to count. Didn't really hurt so I just checked to make sure I wasn't bleeding.
Dog-Nearly every day. Have a lab and he jumps up and his claws are sharp!
Ferret-Yes, my dad had a ferret and he would scratch me. Just checked to make sure I was bleeding to death.
Guinea Pig-Yep. Had a guinea pig growing up. They scratch when you play with them.
Hampster-No
Snake-No
Turtle-no

By a cat once
By my dog several times, but it wasn't defending itself; it's just big and dopey and was trying to be friendly.
Ferret--No
Guinea Pig--No
Hamster--No
Snake--No
Turtle--No
The first thing I think I did was swore, but then I washed with soap and water and put on an antiseptic. The scratch from the cat took longer to heal. The dog scratch healed completely within a couple of days.

I've been scratched by cats so many times its not funny.
My little Beagle dog also has sharp nails that have gotten me a few times.
And when I was little my grandmother had chickens and one of them chased & scratched me. I really hate chickens.

I've shared my house with cats for over 14 years so I've been scratched so many times I don't even react anymore. I did pet sit my sister's cat a few years ago and she got me good when I was trying to put her in the cat carrier (my sister and brother-in-law were on the way to pick her up). Her back claws just gouged my arms. I still have the scars. OW OW OW!!
