In 7th period I was in Math and da fire alarm went off and we all went out side and firetrucks came from every boro and we were out side in the rain for 45 minutes we missed all of 8th period and then today again in 7th period it went off again and we went outside but only for like ten minutes and no firetrucks came and they passed out flyers today about there is a 100 dollar reward for any information....thats sum crazy **** heres the article from the daily news web site:

SA Officials Investigating Bomb Threat

South Allegheny School District is investigating a bomb threat. Assistant Principal Wayne Gdovic discovered the threat, in the form of a written note, yesterday afternoon.
"This is an interruption in the education system, and we take this very seriously," Patrick Risha, SA Superintendent, said this morning.
No one was hurt in yesterday's incident, according to authorities.

Risha said the note was found at 12:40 p.m. in a hallway by the high school auditorium.

"The note was folded and read 'Open Me,'" Risha explained.

The superintendent said Gdovic opened the note, which warned a bomb would go off at 12:30 p.m.

"It was already 12:40 p.m. when the note was opened," Risha pointed out.

Nonetheless, Risha said the school still went through its bomb-threat procedure and evacuated the building.

"We had the fire department and police sweep the building," he said, noting that the procedure "took about 35-40 minutes."

Thus far, there is no suspect in the threat.

"Right now we don't have any solid leads, but we're checking it out," the superintendent said.

According to Risha, it could take some time to view all 38 video surveillance cameras in the building.

"We are going through the footage to see who may be involved," he said.

It could take two to three days before a lead is found, he added.

South Allegheny Police Lt. Kris Kircher is heading up the investigation.

Kircher could not be reached for comment before presstime.

"We have a procedure in place for any type of situation like that and have put it into action," Risha said.

"The safety of the kids is number one," he said. "We take every threat seriously ... nothing is taken lightly."

Yesterday's incident marked the first bomb threat South Allegheny High School has had, Risha said.

That's different from my school. See, we have this thing called code (and some number, I don't know offhand what it is). Anyway, what we do is lock the door, and go into a corner of the room and hide for a little while.

You're homeschooled- you are way too lucky! Saved you from a lot of "traumatic" experiences. Even though I'm past my "school years" (though I'm in college now), I would have LOVED to have been homeschooled. What grade are you in, if I may ask?

I thinks that more of a lockdown, But for a fire alarm? Weird and BTW im in 8th grade.....
