Default CD addiction

I seriously need to calm down with buying cd's it's out of control. This week alone I spent $100 on music. Not just for me, but I have spent more than that in the past for me.

This is is what I bought for myself this week:

- Led Zeppelin II
- Silverchair Rarities
- Sponge
- The Tea party
- Deftones

Does anyone else have an addiction like me. If so what have you bought recently?

I had that addiction between 1996-2000. Thank God for high speed internet.

I can't go to Wal-Mart, without stopping by the CD section and finding at least 4 CDs I want to get

I used to have that problem - with CDs and DVDs - but not so much anymore. I just wanted to have a big collection, so I'd buy media en masse. Months would go by, and I'd look at my CD and DVD shelves, realizing that it'd been years since I've played a lot of the discs I was looking at. In fact, some discs I'd never played. So I've purged my collection considerably in recent months, and I couldn't be happier.

I had that back in the late '90s up until 2004. Downloading music and buying CDs. Now I have a big collection and hardly download or buy CDs anymore. Sometimes I'll even give some CDs away to some second hand shops. I was doing that a lot last summer. I think my dad has a problem like that now with DVDs. He rents a lot of DVDs and makes copies and he has about maybe fourteen DVDs he still hasn't watched. He used to go to the DVD rental place and get out like five DVDs all at once, copy them all and then return them like a few hours later. It's ridiculous. Now, he doesn't copy as much.

You might want to look into getting a subscription to Rhapsody. It's only $9.95 per month, and you can listen to virtually any cd you want for free. You can even download songs for 99 cents a piece, and make your own cd's. It's definitely saved me alot of money, and is one of the best purchases Iv'e ever made!!

But anyway, to answer your original question, no, Iv'e never been much of a cd addict myself. I just grew up taping songs off my radio. LOL!!
