Default Top Ten Least Favorite Episodes

I think it's a new thread, but I have to think long and hard about my answers.

Due to my personal weirdness :
I don't like episodes when Bruce AND Cybill are not together.
I don't like episodes when David becomes close to another woman!
I don't like some episodes because I don't like the guest actor(s).
In most episodes that I do not like so much, I do like certain scenes, but the overall episode(s) may leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Wow, this seems like it is going to be very difficult.

1. L.E.

Seventeen years later, I still haven’t seen it all the way through in one sitting. I’ve seen it at separate stints, and those were enough. Believe me.

2. WGC

About as much fun as the War of 1812.

3. Eine Kleine

Just depressing.

4. A Tale in Two Cities

The same. Infuriating.

5. Come Back, Little Shiksa.

Wherein David commits what people in civilized states refer to as “a violent felony.” Instantly throws his whole character credibility out the window for me. I can hardly bear to even watch him again. If that’s the kind of person he is, Maddie should not have stopped at Chicago, she should have gone into the Witness Protection Program.

6. And the Flesh Was Made Word

Unbelievably one-sided. Flatly ignores several possible responses, which beggars logic and makes it impossible to take seriously. It’s from one of the better writers in the series, who really should have known better.

7. My Fair David

Childish.

8. Bride of Tupperman

Nothing to offer. Some of these episodes come straight from the mind of a mean-spirited adolescent.

9. Witness for the Execution

More childishness, more absolutely mind-boggling nonsense and the even more unbelievable acceptance of it. This would never happen. So manifestly unfair, it makes it almost pointless to have both characters onscreen. But that’s what the show was for!

10. Cool Hand Dave, either one of them.

Yet another thing that beggars belief too much for even this notoriously eccentric show. What cop in the world is not going to check fingerprints to make sure he’s got the right person? Hello? I think they teach you that on Day One at the academy.

The longer Dave languishes in jail without anyone doing the slightest real investigative work to make sure who he is, the more the state opens itself up to lawsuits. Even eighteen years ago, they were paranoid about that sort of thing, so it wouldn’t have gotten this far.

This whole plot point could have been handled in one episode. If you still have to fill time before the return of the second partner, you can throw in almost anything to flesh out another show.

ok, here we go...

!.) LE (Neon, i agree. I still can't watch it. ugh, I don't even like thinking about it. just awful and painfully bad.
2.) WGC - maybe I could watch the 1st 5 minutes. even so, I have not watched it since '89. it makes my skin crawl.
3.) Camille - i really dislike this episode. it makes sense because I think the person that wrote LE also did this one.
4.) North By North Dipesto
5.) Perfetc
6.) Come Back Little Shiksa
7.) Cool Hand Dave 1 (not really a fan of part 2 either, but I can tolerate it)
8.) Poltergeist 3 : Dipesto Nothing
9.) Take a Left at the Altar
10.) Los Dos Dipestos

I have to agree w/ Kismet, I'm not a fan of epsiodes w/out Maddie and David. The show soared when they were together.

I`ve decided to pick my 10 least favourite first because it`s easier than picking my top ten favs as i`m finding it hard to pick just 10 as my best. Still trying to widdle them down!
Well here is MY least favs -

1- WGC. I could sum this one up with one word -ANNIE! -Im sorry but for me this one put the final nail in the coffin for me. ( Even the only highlight in this one , the dance between David and Maddie didn`t seem as intimate as they usually are ( look back to the dance scene in the pilot and you can see the difference )

2- Lunar Eclipse. Well we all know the reason behind that choice!.

3-Los Dos Depestos. Simply because David and Maddie aren`t in this one at all and for me without them it`s just isn`t Moonlighting.

4-Here`s Living With You Kid. Nothing against Bert and Agnes and it probably is funny in it`s own way but for the same reasons as above i still havn`t been able to watch it right through.

5Knowing HerIt`s not so much that i don`t think it`s a good episode it`s just that any romantic threat that comes between David and Maddie is something i don`t like watching.

6-Poltergeist 3 Depesto 0Hardly any Maddie or David ! But i have watched this one and it wasn`t half bad.

7- Camille this one only got in because of that song ` Devil With the Blue Dress On` that was annoyingly played over and over again.

8-Take A Left At The AlterIt still makes my heart bleed watching David trying to cope with Maddies absense.

9-Eine KleineAgain because it`s still focused on the David and A***E storyline.

10-Come Back Little Shiska It`s not a bad episode and since watching it with the commentary i have come to appreciate it more, but i just find it hard to watch David in tears and feeling desperate and watching Maddie put him and herself through unnesesary pain .

Well there you have , hope i havn`t offended anyone, these i just my personal feelings.

I guess I am going to give my answers in a slightly different way.
I don't like most season 4 episodes because of the storyline AND the fact that David and Maddie are not actually together in many of the episodes, SO if I listed the season 4s that I don't watch, it would take up most of my 10. Plus, if I listed the Agnes and Bert episodes, many of my 10 would be used up also.

Well...here is my tactic:
I am going to go through the other seasons and list episodes that I never seem to watch.

Most of the following episodes have scenes that I love but I just can't watch the entire episode:

The Murder's In The Mail - I haven't watched it in many years. I do like some of the scenes, but I have no desire to watch the entire episode. I can't put my finger on the reason why.

The Lady In The Iron Mask - I think it's because I don't like the guest star Dennis Christopher - I didn't like the cycling movie he did either, Breaking Away.

Somewhere Under The Rainbow - I really hate this episode. I thought the storyline was silly. Are there any good scenes in this one?

Atlas Belched - I know Diane consistently lists this as one of her faves, but I never did like it. I think it's because I'm not a big fan of Mark Linn-Baker, plus the episode was depressing because of the possible demise of BlueMoon.

Sleep Talkin' Guy - It's not one of my favorites because David becomes the star of the agency (like Perfetc in season 5) - David and Maddie should be partners, and both of them should be viewed as equally good at their job(s). When was Maddie ever considered the star detective?

Camille - I like Whoopi, but I don't like this episode. Too slapstick for me. There were scenes in it that I like however.

All Creatures Great And Not So Great - I did not like the religious aspect, plus again Maddie is always considered the anti-religion bad-guy(girl).
David = good, Maddie = bad. I have alwayswondered if Glenn did it on purpose.

Tale In Two Cities - hate it, hate it, hate it! I can't stand the fact that David is not loyal to Maddie.

When Girls Collide - I hate the introduction of Annie into the picture, Demi's appearance, and the callousness of David's character.

Lunar Eclipse - I do like the montage, but everything else in this episode simply stinks.

Most season 4 episodes between A Trip To The Moon and Tracks Of My Tears have not been watched by me in many years (except for that great scene in Father Knows Last). I have no interest in watching Bruce acting alone without Cybill on Moonlighting.

I have to start out also and say that I did NOT care for season four or five very much. I mean there were things here and there, but most of season five served only to upset me
Anywho..having said that, here is my list of ten in no particular order.

Camille----this episode annoys the heck outta me.

Poltergeist III-Dipesto Nothing

Come Back, Little Shiksa

Cool Hand Dave I and II

Los Dos Dipestos

Here's Living With You Kid

Plastic Fantastic Lovers

When Girls Collide----YUCK

Eine Kline Nacht Murder

Lunar Eclipse----this was a disgrace and took awhile for me to recover from!!!
