Default Hot Chocolate/Hot Cocoa - Milk or Water?

So, you have placed your powdered hot chocolate/hot cocoa in your mug. What do you prefer your hot liquid to include: milk or water?

Personally, I love to make my hot chocolate/hot cocoa with warm milk because it's just creamier that way. I don't like the watery taste. I love the creaminess from the milk. Mmmmm.... Then, I usually add more milk to cool it off a bit. I don't put too much milk so my chocolate is still warmish.

I am the exact opposite. I don't like the creamy taste so I use hot water.

I usually use hot water, but then again, I've never really tried making it with milk

I use water, because I don't like milk. I know you can't taste it in hot chocolate, so I suppose it's silly of me to steadfastly stick to water all the time, but I never have milk in anything, if I can help it. I don't even put milk in porridge.

I actually do wish I liked milk. Many people seem to love it, and when it's hot, it smells nice. I did have it hot once, with honey, and it was quite nice.

The best hot chocolate I've ever had was in Amsterdam...it was so incredibly creamy! I have tried time and again to replicate it here, but just can't (but maybe it wasn't cow's milk they used)

Anyways, I love it with milk. Sometimes, if I really feel like gorging myself, I'll plop it off with cool whip instead of marshmallows. Actually, I don't use marshmallows when I make it with milk...

Wow...that's a huge answer to a fast question
