I recently ordered the complete DVD set of Unhappily Ever After from a website out of Canada. I had assumed they must have some different licensing there and ordered the set from this company which I will list below. First of all, it took a MONTH AND A HALF TO RECEIVE this set after repeated e-mails. When I finally opened the package, it appeared to be in a homemade plastic container. This didn't even approach my disappointment when I actually played the discs. These "DVD's" appear to be dubbed from an extremely poor copy of a very bad VHS tape. I looked at a few of the discs in case I got one bad one, and they got progressively worse. They have portions of commercials chopped off and the alignment is off and the color is VERY poor. I ask everyone who reads this to PLEASE help spread the word on this "company" so this doesn't happen to someone else. Their names (aliases) are listed here:
Kozaks Discount Web-Worldwide TVDVDmedia Televisionmedia.net Media Enterprises I have ordered MANY, MANY thing from the internet and have never had any experience to approach this one. Now I have to go through the task of trying to recover my money. They actually make you pay for your own return postage for something they sent which is virtually unwatchable. Thanks for your help in advance. THESE PEOPLE ARE ONLINE SCAM ARTIST CROOKS !! |

That does suck and a lot of people are taken in by this scam. If I don't see the dvd listed on commercial websites like walmart or bestbuy I don't buy. More people need to read what tvshowsondvd.com wrote about the piracy problem. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3608
You can also report those websites and try to get them shut down. If they are not in the U.S. it won't help though. http://www.mpaa.org/anti-piracy/contact/index.htm http://www.rcmp.ca/html/intellectual_e.htm |
