Well i guess so. It could chance the whole outcome of the game. Like what if the ref gets in the way of a player trying to score the winning TD of the SB or something. It should be like the rule of pass inference or you could just retake the down.

I don't think there should be a rule against it. It doesn't happen that frequently and it's a risk of the game. And the odds of a ref getting in the way of a play that would be the game winning TD in the Super Bowl really is slim to none.
