I'm sure many of you here are also Spin City fans, especially if you love MJF. How many of you accept the mention of Alex Keaton on Spin City to be canon to the Family Ties Universe?

Hey I mean,Meredith Baxter played the mother of Mike Flaherty and Tracy Pollan his former girlfriend,that's evidence enough for me to consider Spin City as a kind of "Family Ties-15 Years later version",no matter of intended or not.

Even though that episode suggested that Alex P Keaton and Mike Flaherty might not have gotten along at first, I would like to think that they would eventually become friends - despite being on opposite ends of the political spectrum.
