Default To those who are waiting for episodes from me

Hello all,

Just wanted to put in a quick reply to those who've been waiting to get episodes from me. Sorry that it's taken longer than expected, but the first task was locating the episodes on the many scattered VHS tapes that I have laying around. I moved in July so believe it or not, some things like collectibles are still in boxes. The majority of the episodes that people wanted have been located, however, so things are fine on that end.

Now another problem has occurred: my VHS/DVD recorder. I own a SONY RDR-VX500 and it's a VHS/DVD recorder combo. I have tried to get the DVDs to record but to no avail. It for some reason doesn't keep what it has recorded. I have been investigating this matter by searching for online help and troubleshooting and haven't quite solved the problem just yet, but I'm working on it, rest assured.

To complicate things even further, while trying out various tricks with the remote, a prompt came up that read "Restore Factory Settings". I thought this might be the way to solve my problem since nothing I have done has worked thus far. It's quite frustrating to be watching the same episodes time and time again, hoping that when the 22 minutes are over that it won't be for nothing, so I opted for the "Restore Factory Settings" button and now the remote won't work. Every time I press something, even the power button, all I get is a reading on the DVD/VCR recorder screen that says "MODE 3". I have no idea what the hell MODE 3 is and I have no idea how to rectify this situation. I am practically pulling my hair out.

The thing is, I have used this machine before and had no problems with it, but this is insane. I'm frustrated and disheartened, especially since I feel I am letting you people who I promised episodes to down. You have all been so very patient and understanding and I appreciate it immensely. I just hope I can count on you being even more patient while I try to fix this problem.

Please let me know if this is a problem. Also, if any of you have any experience with this sort of thing, do share with me any tips or advice. Even if you're not familiar with the model of the machine I'm speaking of, maybe a universal tip would still apply to my situation. I'm all ears, that's for sure.

Sorry again folks. I'm trying my best, honest. I'm just glad I told people to wait until AFTER I mailed out the DVDs before people paid me for the postage and the cost of the DVDs; otherwise, it'd look like I was running a scam or something. Whew! Thank heaven that part of it has turned out right thus far...

The majority of them are actually, which is why people were wanting them from me. A couple of the Valerie episodes are from when they aired on PAX but most of them (about 95%) are NBC airings.

I am trying to get things up and running with the machine, as stated in the above posts. I do have a lot of the episodes that you speak of, but I don't want to commit to making them for you until I can get things working again. I have quite a few waiting already and I don't want to complicate things by adding more people. Rest assured, if/when this gets resolved, I'll be glad to add you should you still need help from me.
