Default John Larroquette on "House"

Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I just got finished watching "House" and saw that John Larroquette is set to guest star on it next week. So, mark your calendars for November 14th at 9pm Eastern Time. (Check your local listings) on FOX. "House" is outstanding as it is. So, if you've never watched an episode, here's your chance.

Default Beat me to it :)

I was about to post the same message as soon as I saw the promo. Say nitcrt1, didn't you once say that Gregory House is a cross between Dan Fielding and Harry Stone?

I just had a thought: if all the Night Court cast members guest star on House, what roles would you like to see them play, besides patients diagnosed with seemlingly unexplained illnesses?

To all out there, don't forget to watch John Larroquette on "House" tonight.

Makoto_4...to answer the question you posted....

I could see Markie Post playing a doctor or a lawyer, or just someone associated with a patient in some capacity. Maybe she could be a person of interest for House for a brief time.

I could see Charlie Robinson or Marsha Warfield also playing doctors or board administrators who are tough-nosed.

I'm sorry but I couldn't see Harry Anderson playing anything other than a quirky patient or a quirky acquaintance of House or even Cuddy or Wilson for that matter.

I also couldn't picture Richard Moll in any other role other than a patient. Of course, he could always play a bookie or a drug counselor for House. So, maybe he could be something other than a patient.

Anyway, those are my thoughts on that question.

Default Larroquette in House and possible House roles for NC cast

Well, I caught the episode tonight and it was great to see Larroquette again on TV. Funny how the first thing he does when he awakens from his coma is asking for a steak, acting as though nothing had happened.

This I could see happen, one of the three possible roles above. Perhaps she could also be a love interest to House (if that's so, then Stacy Warner has a rival). Speaking of Stacy, there is a connection between "Night Court" and "House." Christine's former roommate Heather was played by Sela Ward and she was pursued by Harry and Dan. While Harry took a fancy to her, Dan got the girl. Ward, of course, later played House's ex-girlfriend Stacy. Both House and Dan are musically inclined: House plays piano and guitar (Hugh Laurie in real life is musically inclined) and Dan plays piano and accordion.

This I could see too. Both seem to be the type who would work as doctors or board administrators. They could be brought in to aid House's staff for a few episodes while sparring with House. The last time Marsha Warfield played a doctor was Maxine Douglas in "Empty Nest."

Harry could most likely to be a quirky acquaintance of Wilson, mainly because Wilson as you said has a Harry-like personality and demeanor and is the voice of reason to Dan as Wilson is to House. Plus, it seems that they both love the movie "Vertigo." (Harry mentioned he would never see that movie again after finding Bull on the roof and looking over the ledge. Wilson has a poster of the movie in his office.) Harry could also be one of the many clinic patients House deals with in between solving the main illness of the episode.

Like Harry, Bull could be a clinic patient. But it would be interesting to see him in another role besides a patient, something that would be in contrast to Bull.

What about other cast members of the show appearing in House, even though about two of them have passed on? Hey, I can dream :

-Gail Strickland (Public Defender Sheila Corinth; pilot episode)
-Paula Kelly (Public Defender Liz Williams; first season after the pilot)
-Karen Austin (Court Clerk Lana Wagner; first season)
-Selma Diamond (Bailiff Selma Hacker; seasons one and two)
-Ellen Foley (Public Defender Billie Young; second season)
-Florence Halop (Bailiff Florence Kleiner; season three)
-Denice Kumagai (Quon Le Duc Robinson; occasional from second to ninth season)
-Mike Finneran (Building Facilities Supervisor Art Fensterman (occasional throughout all seasons)
-Joleen Lutz (Court Stenographer Lisette Hocheiser; occasional seasons eight and nine)
-John Astin (Harry's father Buddy)
-William Utay (Dan's servant/bum Phil)

Joleen Lutz and Mike Finneran could be clinic patients. Perhaps John Astin could be a clinic patient, possibly co-starring with Harry Anderson. What do you think?

Default Larroquette wasn't the only NC cast member in House

I just started watching the second season of House on DVD and I spotted one other NC cast member guest-starring on the show. In the episode "Humpty Dumpty," Charlie Robinson played a clinic patient diagnosed with high blood pressure and was treated by Dr. Eric Foreman and later by Dr. House. I didn't realize this so it was great to see one other cast member appearing in House.

They most likely will at some point. You can also check the Lifetime channel Friday nights at 11PM Eastern time. I did notice that they are also running this year's episodes as well as episodes from the previous years. As a matter of fact, two weeks after this year's John Larroquette episode aired, I caught it repeated on Lifetime on a Friday night at 11PM.

It will air in one of those places again.
