Default Ever been a fan of both teams in a rivarly?

I've been
NBA
Lakers vs Celts the 80's: I liked both teams. But i liked the lakers slightly more. People think thats unsual.

Celts VS Lakers the 60's: I liked both teams but liked the celts of the 60's slightly more than the lakers of the 60's.

NFL
Steelers VS Cowboys the 70's: I liked both teams. Which made it so hard to pick btw the 2 were the 2 QB'S staubach and bradshaw. They were just so good.

49ers VS Cowboys the 90's: wow this one was great. But i liked the 9ers slightly more. I was a big jerry rice fan and young fan. But i also loved the cowboy triplets.

I have to say, absolutely not.

It almost sounds like you are a fan of the winning teams, not that you necessarily rooted for a specific team.

Niners, Steelers, Cowboys- hmmmm, they all had somthing in common...oh yeah, winning.

That is insulting for a serious fan, like myself, who has had his entire week ruined by a loss from the Boys.

Be honest. How could you live and die when you supposedly liked both sides?

You have no idea how nuts I went when the Cowboys lost.

Jan. 11, 1981 - NFC Championship - Philadelphia 20, Dallas 7

-kicked the crap out of everything in sight. I was 13.

Jan. 10, 1982 - NFC Championship - San Francisco 28, Dallas 27

-just didn't talk a lot for days.

It took me almost six years (Jan 2000 to Late 2005) to get over what happened in the 2000 AFC Championship Game (Jaguars vs. Titans).

Yeah.

It helps that 4/5 of the current Titans team wasn't there then - now if they could just get rid of Fisher I'd be happy.

If you like more than one team then you are flaking and giving yourself a possible out if one ends up badly.

Any way you put it, it's a load of crap.

My team f-ed me today, I'm not rooting for the Colts or going into any sort rah rah I kinda like this other team too sortof jackass deflection of reality.

Accept loss, it's, life, and you don't live forever.

Get off the bandwagon.

Love a team or accept that you are just a poser.
The end.

Been a Cowboy fan since I could talk, born in 67.
Never left them.

After the 1-15 season, I flew to Dallas to go see them.

I have less than zero respect for front runners. You live & die by your team, I bleed with my team & have since the early 80's.

If you combine the championships of all my teams since I have been alive you get a whopping total of 3 & they all came from my hockey team!! Nobody can accuse me of being a front runner...lol

I have the Live Broadcast of the 81 NFC Championship on two VHS tapes and looking to get rid of it-lol For years it was never showed that the Cowboys had a chance to win the game after Dwight Clark makes the catch. They just made it seem like that was the end of the game. I was able to see that Danny White threw a nice 25 yd pass to Drew Pearson and they were 10 yds out of FG range but Fumbled on the next down. The score could have been 30-28 Dallas

WHY? The Titans beat the the Jags straight up, it wasn't like it was a last second FG or winning TD.

They do act like that was the last play of the game with Dwight Clark.

The Cowboys were there, and after they crossed the 50 you could sense the tension and the moment.

Cowboys would have won that Super Bowl if they had gotten there, and history would have changed for a lot of people.
