well yes... being mentally handicapped makes it difficult sometimes to understand more than one thing at a time, and they take things quite literal. So blair having been more demanding of him was confusing him so much that he let his anger and frustration out on the painting, and then obviously felt quite embarassed about the situation

Yes, she was a little mean to him. But I don't think she really meant to be. She never worked with the mentally handicap before and she expected too much out of him.

YES. SHE WAS IN UNFAMILIAR TERRITORY. MAYBE BECAUSE HER COUSIN GERI WAS ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH A LOT, SHE THOUGHT LEO COULD ALSO. PERHAPS SHE WAS JUST TRYING TO ENCOURAGE HIM, BUT THERE ARE LIMITS TO WHAT A MENTALLY CHALLENGED PERSON CAN ACCOMPLISH. SHE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THIS. AND AS MRS. G. ALLUDED TO, BLAIR WAS IN OVER HER HEAD.

BY-THE-WAY, YOU GUYS KNOW THAT THIS ACTOR, TOM BYRD, WAS IN THE EP, "WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS", WHERE HE PLAYED A CAMPUS DRUG DEALER?

Not about Leo, but they reused actors a lot in different roles. Besides the obvious of the guy that played Jeff appearing in an earlier S3 episode as Zack, I noticed another.

In the same S3 camp out episode, there is another blonde guy who Nancy and Blair are flirting with about the overnight hike. He looked so familiar to me until I finally figured out why. He also appeared in the Florida spring break episodes in S6 as the guy Leo rescuses her from.

Hrrm. This is a family-friendly message board, so I'm trying to hold my temper. Not easy, I'm a Scorpio. This was one of my fav. FOL episodes. Blair had never worked with a ******** person before. It took her time, but she came to realize how special Leo was. Remember the last line? "Just how you see it Leo. Exactly as you see it." I thought Lisa was really good here. Tom Byrd did a great job too. He also starred opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh in the cable movie "Girls of the White Orchid."
